The INYM ( National Institute of Yerba Mate) launches an application to help you get closer to Argentinian mate.
MATE GO offers more than one hundred varieties of yerba mate for you to choose, as well as a map to locate where to get hot water for mate and an interesting blog with all the news of the sector.
The current context of social isolation due to the pandemic brought about a substantial growth in the consumption of digital media: social networks, websites, virtual stores and applications. Consumers seek to access content from home, using multiple devices such as tablets, smart TVs, personal computers and cell phones.
In this scenario, the INYM launches the “Promotion of Digital Content Programme” for the yerbatero sector operators. Those enrolled as fractionators, fractionating millers and owners of yerba mate brands under the Fason agreement are included in the Programme.
With MATE GO, mate lovers can choose the yerba they like the most; they can select from yerba with or without sticks, yerba for tereré and much more. To contact the companies that commercialise the products, you can access the contact form where you can find their telephone numbers, e-mails, website and social networks.
MATE GO app allows the user to locate the petrol stations and nearest places that offer hot water for the mate. You just need to activate your location in your cell phone. Little by little we will be adding more places that offer hot water for your mates all over the country.
This option offers drinks that were promoted in the MATEAR mate fair. It includes delicious cakes and puddings with yerba mate flavour and dishes with regional ingredients such as the surubí, the chipa and the sweetcorn pie.
For those who like to be informed, the application shows all the news in the news blog. You can find statistics, mate tips, recent research works, interviews about yerba mate sustainable production as well as curiosities about the mate.
The application is free of charge and it can be downloaded from Google Playstore for Android users and from Apple Store for Apple users.
